📚 Repository Policy (Self-Archiving)

1. Policy Overview

Education Tomorrow fully supports the rights of authors to deposit their work in institutional, subject, or public repositories at any stage of the publication process. We believe that open sharing of research accelerates knowledge dissemination and increases research impact.

2. Permitted Versions for Self-Archiving

Authors have the right to deposit the following versions:

Education Tomorrow does NOT impose any embargo periods. All versions may be shared immediately upon their availability.

4. License Terms (CC BY 4.0)

All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits:

• Sharing: Copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format
• Adaptation: Remixing, transforming, and building upon the material for any purpose, including commercially
• Repository Deposit: Posting in institutional, subject-based, or public repositories
• Personal Websites: Hosting on personal or professional websites
• Academic Networks: Sharing on ResearchGate, Academia.edu, and similar platforms
• Social Media: Posting excerpts or links on social media platforms

5. Requirements for Self-Archiving

When depositing articles in repositories, authors must:

1. Provide appropriate attribution:
   • Author name(s)
   • Article title
   • Journal name: Education Tomorrow
   • Volume and issue number
   • Page range
   • Year of publication
2. Include a link to the published version: https://doi.org/[article DOI]
3. State the license: "This article is licensed under CC BY 4.0"
4. Indicate any changes: If the deposited version differs from the published version, note this clearly

7. Preprint Posting

Authors are encouraged to post preprints of their work on recognized preprint servers before, during, or after the peer review process. Posting a preprint does NOT constitute prior publication and will not affect consideration by Education Tomorrow.

8. Registration with Repository Services

This repository policy is registered with:

• Sherpa/Romeo (registration in progress)
• DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals)
• Listed on journal website: https://journal.kipchumbafoundation.org

9. Copyright Retention

Authors retain full copyright of their work. Education Tomorrow only requires:

• A non-exclusive license to publish the work
• The right of first publication

Authors are free to enter into additional agreements for non-exclusive distribution, provided they acknowledge the original publication in Education Tomorrow.
